If you have been directed to this site because you've "heard something", then I would probably suggest that you start from the beginning. To the left is the list of entries that starts with my Testimony, then explains how this court case all began. It's a lot of reading so it might take a while! You can email each entry to yourself aswell to save time.

If you would prefer, you can email me and I can send you a set of documents with all the entries in it.

Is He really THAT good??

It's the morning of court, just another adjournment (I hope). I was looking at my emails yesterday and there was one there from a friend who is planting a church in Narooma.

"I trust this finds you rejoicing in the Lord, for He is always good."

It stopped me. Do I really believe that? I mean do I think He is ALWAYS good?

Earlier I was listening to "Blessed Be Your Name".

"Blessed be Your name, When the sun's shining down on me, When the world's 'all as it should be', Blessed be Your name" .........Yeah, I believe that.

"Blessed be Your name, On the road marked with suffering, Though there's pain in the offering, Blessed be Your name" ..........hang on a sec, there it is again.

It's easy to trust God in the goodness of life, but what about the "not so good", do we do it then? And if we don't, why not?

I am addressing it here to reflect your encouragement back to you. Nicole and I are feeling very relaxed about today. This morning, after a goods night sleep, she picked me up and I drove her to work. We discussed normal stuff: going shopping tonight, what's for dinner and the need to do the dishes. In the midst of this normal morning, a number of text messages have come through with encouragement and prayer for today.

Nicole and I are not special because of how we are handling this, no. God has allowed us to be surrounded by fantastic friends and strangers who are supporting us, and through them, God is carrying us through this.

So, do I think God is always good? Yes. Do I rejoice in the Lord even when life is not going well? Yes. How? Because I leaned on him and those around me for support - and they, you, have given it freely.

Let me encourage you, when things aren't good, the world seems to be falling apart, lean on Him for strength. Then, as hard as it is, open up to someone. Tell someone about it. Ask them to join you in your struggle. Let me tell you, as someone who is experiencing the love from people joining in a struggle, it really helps. It helps a lot.

So, now, I head off to court, probably just for another adjournment - rejoicing in the Lord, for He is good always.
