It's been a while since I have written anything here, and I think that's because by giving this to God and the strength of prayerful support, court doesn't rule my life. But let's not pretend that it isn't!
On the 27th September, I go to court again for an adjournment. I have an appointment to see a doctor to get an assessment done, that's not until 23rd October so I guess the case will be adjourned until after that. So, at a guess, it'll probably be rescheduled for November sometime.
The nerves of the case are coming back a little - I find it hard to concentrate and my thoughts are sometimes a little flighty, but I guess this type of stressful attacks are to be expected given that last time in court was just supposed to be an adjournement aswell!
College is progressing into the "essay" time of the semester. The Court Chaplaincy ministry is taking a bit to get going, the beaurecracy of it all is slowing things down. Evidently it's hard to get someone to say it's ok to be there as a volunteer chaplain! But, with prayer I'll keep chipping away at it. Other things always come up and I have a few things going on in terms of planning ministry stuff, but the case hovers over it all...would be nice to have it all done christmas!
My relationship with Nicole has stayed strong and give thanks to God each day for providing me with such a partner - truly I don't deserve such a person, but best not to argue when you are winning!
I suppose I just want to let you all know (however many actually drop by this blog) that I am thankful for the time, thoughts and prayer you have invested into this with me. At times the thought of people praying for you, people that don't even know you, well, that speaks volumes about unity in Christ.
So, thankyou, not only for your support through this, but for the incredible encouragement you provide just by participating.
READ THIS FIRST!!!
If you have been directed to this site because you've "heard something", then I would probably suggest that you start from the beginning. To the left is the list of entries that starts with my Testimony, then explains how this court case all began. It's a lot of reading so it might take a while! You can email each entry to yourself aswell to save time.
If you would prefer, you can email me and I can send you a set of documents with all the entries in it.
Please feel free to make comments at the end of any of the entries.
